O'zapft is! The Oktoberfest kegs are tapped and the time has come for another 9-day whirlwind autumnal celebration at Round Trip Brewing! This year's Oktoberfest celebration is happening 30 Sept to 8 Oct 2023 with activities aplenty for all to enjoy!
The celebration includes the release of our barrel-aged Imperial Oktoberfest, Kaiser von Märzen, plus beer served in maßkrug mugs (1L) that you can keep.
Oktoberfest is FREE to attend, which is to say there are no tickets required for entry. Simply come and buy beer as normal.

THE BEER
OKTOBERFEST
Our Oktoberfest is a traditional Märzen-style lager brewed using German malts with Magnum and Tettnang hops. We lager Oktoberfest for at least six-weeks to mature the moderately toasted bread flavors, smooth sweetness, and easily drinkable profile.
KAISER VON MÄRZEN
Its Highness Kaiser von Märzen - aka the monarch of malt, the sovereign of suds, the lord of lagers, the baron of booze, the potentate of pints, the liege of libations, the duke of draught – is our Imperial Oktoberfest aged in barrels. KvM comes from a long line of traditional German malts and Noble hops and stands at 8% ABV to reign supreme over all Märzens.

A limited amount of 1L maßkrug mugs will be available to purchase starting 30 Sept. Registering for Field Day is the only way to guarantee you get a Boot.

THE ACTIVITIES
FIELD DAY
Saturday, 30 September, 10am
Grab a partner and race against other teams to complete all the challenges. First place team wins a special prize. Games in 2022 included keg bowling, balloon toss, chicken launch, Fowling, crossword challenge, putt putt, beer hat relay, and more. Games for 2023 to be determined.
$50 fee includes 2-person team entry, 2 Oktoberfest maßkrug mugs, and a maß beer pour for each participant. The entry fee covers both people on the team. You can register as a 'free agent' for $25 and we'll pair you with a ready and willing partner.
DOG DAY AFTERNOON
Sunday, 1 October
Bring your dog to the brewery on Sunday, 1 Oct to enjoy a day with dog treats, a small dog race, and talent show.
Dogs under 20lbs are eligible to participate in the small dog race (we will separate into separate heats depending on the number of dogs participating). The course is straight, short, and confined. Each dog will need two humans: one at the start and one at the finish line.
No purchase necessary, show up a few minutes before race time to sign up!

Gather your friends to complete an German-themed 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle as fast as possible. $15 minimum bar tab per team or purchase a puzzle to play. Gift cards for the top three teams.

Wednesday, 5 October
Grab your brainiac friends for an evening of Dirty South Trivia with an Oktoberfest bent. Top teams receive a gift card for their next visit. Please tip your bartenders.

We're holding TWO stein holding competitions on Saturday afternoon, 2 October. See how long you can hold a full stein against others for a prize. Must be 21+ to participate.
MAZURY POLISH FOLK DANCE ENSEMBLE
Sunday, 8 October
The Mazury Polish Folk Dance Ensemble will be joining us on Family Fun Day fully dressed in traditional folk dancing attire. They will share their culture and dance traditions while helping pour beers in the Beer Garden.
LEGO Night
Thursday, 5 October, 7pm
Our first-ever LEGO night will take place during Oktoberfest. We will supply the LEGOs and give every team the same category. Your job will be to build whatever we tell you to build as best you can in the time allowed. The teams with the best LEGO structures at the end will win a prize.
LEGO Night will take place every other Thursday henceforth.
