Beer in the time of Coronavirus

Our hearts go out to all the folks affected by COVID-19 and we encourage everyone to do the right thing to protect themselves and prevent more spreading.

We come to you today with a plea to keep small businesses in mind as they navigate uncertain territory. As local breweries continue to operate over the coming weeks and months, we encourage you to support them by buying their beer or simply by purchasing gear from their online stores. Several breweries may remain open while others are offering to-go beers. We encourage you to pick up crowler or a 6-pack if you can.

Below is a list of breweries in the Upper Westside of Atlanta that could use your love in the time of COVID-19. All of them have released statements on the action they are taking to protect customers and employees from spreading anything harmful. News is changing fast so be sure to check before you go.

We also encourage you to donate to the Giving Kitchen. Many staff from bars and restaurants stand to lose their jobs and can use the support of the community.

Be safe and responsible out there. Cheers.

Giving Kitchen provides emergency assistance to food service workers through financial support and a network of community resources.
